Portland Streetcar began service July 20, 2001 with a 2.4-mile alignment (4.8-miles round trip) from Portland State University to NW 23rd Avenue. Now, as we reach 20 years of service, Portland Streetcar operates three lines around 16-miles of track in Portland's Central City.
